A Wee Bit Of Clutter

Are your closets overflowing with clothes you have not worn in eons? When was the last time you did a spring cleaning of all your closets and drawers? Can you walk around your rooms without tripping over furniture or things? What about your fridge? Things buried in the back that are years past its due date? No matter how you slice it, it is all clutter. If your home is in a state of clutter, I can image what your mind and body are storing?

Chronic pain, migraines, grinding your teeth, sleepless/restless nights, body stresses, persisting dis-ease in the body, bouts of anger, sadness or grief, these are the clutter being held within the body’s nervous system. Maybe it is not all yours and it could be something that was handed down to you by your ancestors. They did not have the tools to healing their traumas so this also got stored in your nervous system. One reason why you are on this planet is to heal the traumas of your ancestors, which might be a surprise to you. It was to me!
This is one of the many reasons for decluttering your mind and body. As you do, the body begins to slow down as you breathe more deeply. Your nervous system relaxes and now the body can begin to heal what ails you. It can be a slow process and others times it moves very quickly. As you continue with your inner work you might find yourself changing your friends, moving to a new place or moving miles away, changing jobs or having the courage to leave an abusive relationship. You’ll find you have a new awareness about yourself and the world around you. It is rather magical, like a magical mystery tour within you and outside of you.
