Dancing With Your Trauma

What does my inner healing involve? Its bringing all those beautiful parts of me, my long lost children living within my nervous system back into the light. The more inner work I do, the safer these parts feel. Then they begin to come into my awareness more rapidly because all they are wanting is to be seen, heard, felt and loved by me without JUDGEMENT and they want to be FREE. Through all my trainings I have discovered how to embrace them all but when their emotions and voices get stronger, I had to come to the realization I needed to seek outside support. The trauma was buried deeply and no matter what I did, no matter the knowledge or tools I had, I was stuck.

Part of my programming was to do everything on my own. I had to be stoic, strong and independent. Showing any hint of vulnerability was a no-no. Seeking anyone’s help was also a no-no. Is this part of your programming?
When you hit that place inside of yourself where the voices get louder, the triggers get stronger and nothing makes sense anymore, rather then pushing it away or ignoring it, then maybe it’s time to seek some guidance. Taking that first step will start your healing process.
It’s our responsibility to integrate all these parts of ourselves and in doing so we are helping our ancestors to heal their trauma, which is our trauma. Your inner work changes your past and alters your future and the future for the children of the world. God Bless you for what you are doing and for Being a part of this incredible journey.
